We worked with the Codman Square Neighborhood Council to secure funds to renovate the park that faces 81 Brent Street. Construction begins September 2011 and will be complete before June 2012.

Presently, $875,000 has been secured from the city and state for capital improvements.  Three community meetings were held with the Boston Park and Recreation Department to design the park.  The most recent rendering of the new park is below.

Some of the green features being incorporated into the park include: LED lighting, bike racks, passive paths and green landscape.   Other park developments include: 15 park benches from 3; 2 fountains from 1; 2 basketball courts from 1 (one can be used for volleyball and tennis); 5 entrances with trash receptacles at each from 4; 4 bike racks from 0, a multi purpose field for soccer, baseball and kickball; increased passive walking paths and sitting areas, increased greens space and plans for more, a 3 foot attractive iron fence and acorn lighting in the park.
